Grace

Grace is a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair.  She was found as a stray and came to NAHS over a year ago and has been waiting since then to find a loving family.  Grace can be nervous around new situations, so a patient family would be best for her.  She also can play a little rough, and would prefer to live with older kids.  No kitty should have to spend such a long time stuck in the shelter, do you have it in your heart to show Grace how wonderful a real home can be?

Monty

Monty is a 5-year-old male Jack Russell/rat terrier mix.  He was surrendered to NAHS when his family had to move suddenly and couldn’t take him with.  He’s a very sweet dog who likes to play, sit in your lap and go on walks.  He doesn’t mind most other dogs and would be find living with a cat friend (or two)! This sweet dog will make an excellent addition to just about any home – he just needs to find the lucky family who’s ready to take him in! 

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Clay

Age: 13 years old

Breed: Cocker Spaniel

Background: Brought to A.D.O.P.T. because he didn’t deserve to spend his senior years at Chicago Animal Control.  He has been at A.D.O.P.T. since January 1st, 2012.

Personality: Clay is a great dog!  He may be an older dog, but he’s still playful and likes other dogs.  He’s very calm and a great walker.  Clay is a sweet dog who deserves a loving home for the rest of his life.   P.S.  He just got a new Do - come check it out!

Adoption fee: $175

Bailey

Age: She will be 2 years old in May of 2012.

Breed: Domestic short hair/dilute torti

Background: Owner give up - has been at A.D.O.P.T. since May 2011.

Personality: She is a very sweet cat who loves attention and would be very content sitting by her favorite person's side, just as long as you let her keep her feet on the ground.  She doesn't like to be picked up very much.  She can be frisky at times and would be perfect for someone looking for a cat with a big personality and we mean that in the best possible way.

Adoption Fee:  $100

Other: All animals at A.D.O.P.T. are vet checked, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and are up to date on age related vaccines.
