Valentine W. Binkowski, 66, Served in the US Air Force

Valentine W. Binkowski, age 66, of Naperville, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Tabor Hills Health Care Facility in Naperville, IL.  He was born April 16, 1947 in Detroit, MI, the son of Valentine W. and Marjorie L. nee Hale Binkowski.  

Val proudly served his county as a sergeant in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970.  After his discharge from the Air Force, he worked as a production manager for All-Pak Manufacturing Corporation in Aurora, IL.  

He had a great passion for space, having been a member of the Northwest Suburban Astronomers (NSA).  He also enjoyed tennis, photography and music of all kinds.  Val was an avid reader and enjoyed action and sci-fi movies.

He is survived by his father Valentine W. Binkowski of Necedah, WI, a daughter Ashley S. Binkowski of Oswego, IL, brothers Tom (Karen) Binkowski of Naperville, IL, Edward C. (Rebecca) Godin of Tecumseh, MI and the mother of his daughter, Alma Binkowski of Oswego, IL.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Godin.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREAMTORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL  60543.
