Nyan Cat comes to the Naper Boulevard Library

When is low tech paper a twist on high tech pixels? Ask the Nyan Cat!

The Naper Boulevard Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAGTeam) created awesome artwork as part of their Teen Tech Week activities.  With a theme of “Geek Out @ your library” the teens decided to interpret the Nyan Cat, a very techie Internet trend and meme, as a low-tech project made from paper. And best of all, they added a tech twist. The cat was created from square Post-It Notes but the finished art made the Post-Its look like pixels! Stacey Costabile, Teen Librarian at NBL, helped coordinate the project.  The teens hope to create more Post-It pixel art for the Library’s Summer Reading Program.
