How to Get Fresh Water on Well & Septic Homes

I had a past client call me and ask what they could do to get the smell of "sulfur" or “eggs” out of their well water. Naperville homes located in the unincorporated areas of Naperville usually have this problem of "smelly" water because they are on wells, and must take extra measures in treating incoming water.  During our talk, they mentioned having problems with yellowing clothes and orange water marks in visible areas around the home.

I told them that the smell of sulfur and rusty water is from improper water filtration, and I knew of a solution.

I’ve lived on well water and a septic system for over 12 years, so I know what needed to be done. The answer: Iron Out System. A complete Iron Out System can be purchased for less than a few thousand dollars (prices vary by supplier), and suppliers will usually install the system for free or for a very low price. The system consists of several systems and steps:

3. water softner

4. reverse osmosis (for those wanting to take the extra step in producing drinkable water)

The Iron Out System will regenerate on a nightly basis (or on a frequency of your choosing) and provide your home with about 500 gallons of fresh water available for use the next day. This system provides your family and home with clear, odorless water that will keep your whites crisp and clean.  There are many companies and several system types that treat water, but this has been found to be the most effective through my years of trying to find the right solution.

In addition to installing a water treatment system, regular maintenance is necessary and crucial to ensuring that your water stays clear. A water treatment system is a worthwhile investment in ensuring clean water for you and your family.
