Social Media for Small Business

Is Your Social Media Profile Destroying Your Business? Read this article to get some quick tips about growing your small business on line for little or no cost!

I believe there are many people out there not living their life’s desire. What I mean by that is not just lifestyle, but their purpose that they feel deep down in their core. Something they know they were born to do. I know often times I go to a networking event and find out the Tupperware lady is really an aspiring actress or writer, and even has a few scripts under her hat.  Maybe that is a talking point with that person. Find out what their passions are, and find your common ground. You may be able to help her out and connect her with someone who knows someone who knows someone, who knows Clint Eastwood, for example.

Doing business is an exchange, a process of reciprocity. Everyone in business knows this. There is synergy everywhere, you just need to find it, or better yet, attract it to you. How?

What are some of your favorite pastimes or passions? Join  a group, a physical group in your community AND an on-line community group, such as Facebook. Become a resource and contributor for your expertise, help others get started. When you combine off-line activities with on-line activities you will see a viral effect.

And the best thing you can do for your business is to have a Social Presence On-Line. Why? People still like to refer people to their Doctors, Lawyers, Dentists, Chiropractors, Restaurants, you get the drift. Facebook has become the new Town Crier of today. The “Town Crier” has become all of  YOU consumers out there. The buying power is now in the hands of the consumer. You need to engage with them were they are.

There are over 845 Million Facebook Users out there, and 50% of them check into Facebook twice a day. Can you see the power of this for your business?

If you are already on Facebook, good for you. Engage your customers, invite them to be active with your product or service so they will invite more visitors and create more customers. Then from there, you can build loyalty in a variety of ways where you take the on-line visitors off-line and invite the off-line customers to your on-line community. There you can turn them into raving fans and evangelists for your business. I am passionate about Social Media. You should be too! If you are not found on the search engines, You ARE NOT Relevant!
