Keller Williams Infinity Realty in Naperville Announces its 4th Annual Red Day Set for May 10th

Keller Williams Realty Infinity in Naperville is proud to announce our community outreach program for our annual Red Day Event taking place on Thursday, May 10, 2012!

Keller Williams Realty Infinity in Naperville is proud to announce that on Thursday, May 10th our office and all of our agents will be taking the day off—from business that is!  All of our staff and Realtor® associates here in Naperville and across the country will be putting business aside, rolling up our sleeves and getting out into our local community to "Give Where You Live."

Red Day is short for “Renew, Energize and Donate,” and was created in honor of Vice Chairman of the Board, Mo Anderson to unite all Keller Williams Realty offices, associates, staff, family members and business partners in an international day of service. Red Day 2012 will be one of the biggest happenings in the real estate industry to date.

As part of the RED Day effort, our Naperville Keller Williams Infinity office has chosen to spend the day with A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment) here in Naperville.  A.D.O.P.T.'s  philosphy is simple.  They are a private, "no-kill", non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. Finding homes for voiceless animals is their number one priority.

On Thursday, May 10, 2012, we will be helping our friends at A.D.O.P.T. in their much needed volunteer roles.  We encourage you help to make this a success!  Together with our office and staff, along with the help of our vendor partners, we will be giving back by grooming animals (we have a real estate professional and  "former" dog groomer who will be donating her services in making these animals look their very best), bathing the animals, walking and exercizing the animals, cleaning and vacuuming their rooms, entering data into their computers, working on computer programs, tending to the outside grounds, and much, much more!

Currently there more pets being displaced due to the large amounts of distressed properties across the Western suburbs.  People in some cases feel that they have no choice and can't take their beloved pets with them to their new surroundings. This as devestating to the pets as it is to the families who love them.

This event is an entrenched part of Keller Williams Realty’s culture and displays the extraordinary effect a company can have when individuals come together to work as a team for the greater good of everyone. I can’t tell you what an impact it has made on each of us personally.  It’s great to give back to the community we know and love.

During RED Day 2011, over 35,000 Keller Williams associates participated in activities ranging from food and blood drives to cleaning up trash in public parks, doing yard work for neighbors in need or revamping gardens at nursing homes totaling more than 192,000 hours of service (that's 95 years worth of volunteering in one day!) making RED Day one of the biggest events in the real estate industry. During last year's Red Day we donated our time and talents to the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Aurora.
