Does Your Home Contain Deadly Toxins?

Do you or your children suffer with asthma, eczema, unexplained behavioral issues, and forgetfulness? Hidden toxins in our home environment can sometimes be traced to allergies and illness. . .

Many years ago I read an article on migraines and their possible causes.  This subject intrigues me because I sometimes experience migraines.  This last one left me with a reaction to the new medication that was prescribed a few months ago.  I ended up with is called a "drug blister."  My lip swelled up like a balloon and well it wasn't a pretty sight.  I have been through numerous testing, had MRIs, CAT scans, energy work, healings, acupuncture, acupressure and so on.  There doesn't appear to be any rhyme nor reason for when they come or how often. While it is true that many migraines can be traced back to food allergies, environmental I believe that toxins can play an important role in their cause. I go back to this theory time and time again because I feel it holds the key (or least one of the keys) to the finding the cause and perhaps even a cure.

Research has shown that some older model refrigerators can leak Freon (a non-flammable gas used in refrigeration that has no odor) into the air you breathe inside your home.  Freon gas is said to be another major cause in the earth's ozone depletion. Can anyone relate to this?

So what else in your home is creating illness?  New carpeting contains formaldehyde.   New or older wood flooring that as just been refinished also contains toxins that can emit deadly fumes into the air.  Paint or stains can have the same effect.  I am sure there are many, many more chemicals existing in your home that are causing unexplained illness.  Mold, dirty air filters in your HVAC system, improper venting of your hot water heater, and so on.  In fact, one of my associates' in-laws had to leave their home because the mold in their basement was making them sick! After an inspection by a qualified mold expert they found deadly mold existed in their basement. They had to immediately vacate their home while the mitigation process began.  All of their draperies, carpeting, clothing, etc. had to be treated and their house had to re-test negative to deadly mold before they were able to move back in.

Do you or your children suffer with asthma, eczema, unexplained behavioral issues, and forgetfulness?  There are many more ailments that can be traced to the food we eat, the air we breathe and the environment in which we live.  So instead of treating the disease we need to concentrate on finding out the cause.  Many of our homes are housing deadly agents that are depleting our health.  Before you go on unnecessary medication do your best to research what is currently in your environment.  Awareness is half the battle.

I agree! Find the cause, don't just treat the symptoms. A lot of the time sickness is our body telling us there is a problem. And the right vitamins and nutrients can help a body heal itself from the damage that was done.

Thanks Teri! Too many people run off to the doctor hoping for a quick fix. I have always believed that our bodies are meant to heal--providing we find out the cause of any illness or allergy that we might be experiencing. Linda
