Naperville Moms Network Supports Little Friends
Little Friends hosts fundraising event, Patio Shakedown at City Gate Grille to raise funds for their cause. Dr. Cathy Subber of Naperville Moms Network was a guest celebrity bartender for the event.
is a local non-profit organization helping to serve and raise awareness for kids and adults with autism. Their website states, "Little Friends is a private, non-profit organization serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Based in Naperville, Illinois, Little Friends operates 11 dynamic programs including three alternative schools, family support and consultation services, vocational training programs, community-based residential services and the Little Friends Center for Autism. Founded in 1965, Little Friends serves more than 800 people each year throughout DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Will, McHenry and western Cook counties."
Every year Little Friends hosts a Celebrity Bartending event where a few of "Naperville's most notable residents" step behind the bar and raise as much tips as they can to donate to the cause.
Held at City Gate Grille's patio, Dr. Cathy Subber, Chief Mama of the Naperville Moms Network and Leah Rippe, Publisher of Naperville Magazine, joined forces against Ray Kinney, Partner at Minuteman Press and Maclyn Group & Grant Wehrli, City Councilman in the race in who can make the most tips for the Little Friends.
