Rotary Clubs Throughout Chicagoland Join Together to Benefit the Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research

On Tuesday, February 19th, the Rotary Clubs throughout the Chicago region are hosting a#TasteforRotary, a benefit for the Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research of Easter Seals for Metropolitan Chicago. The event will be hosted by the Rotary Clubs of District 6450, which includes the Naperville Noon Rotary, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn.

In addition to raising funds for the Easter Seals (which they will use to expand their current facilities) the event will celebrate the 108th birthday of Rotary and honor the memory of Past District Governor Art Davis, who passed away late last year. The evening will also include live and silent auctions with items including a Blackhawk’s game jersey, a $2,000 diamond necklace from David Nelson Jewelry, a day at the NASCAR races and much more!

DJ Services will be provided by Jason Baumann of Laser Sounds.

Rotary District 6450 Governor Pat Merryweather, of the Naperville Noon Rotary, said, “This will be a great way to remember Naperville’s own Art Davis while celebrating something that was very close to his heart – Rotary and helping Easter Seals fight autism. It will be a wonderful night for all.“

Tickets for the event are $75 per person or $100 per couple.  They can be purchased by visiting the Rotary District Website  (www.rotarydistrict6450.org) and selecting the “Register Now” tab on the upper right hand side.
