Naperville Easter Events, Egg Hunts

Easter is right around the corner. Check out what Naperville has to offer for Easter egg hunts this year.

While winter still seems to be nipping at our heals, the planning for several Easter egg hunts in the area are well underway for the coming weeks.

Some do require pre-registration. Here is a look at some local egg hunts that are sure to get you in the Easter — and spring — spirit:
  • The 29th annual Jaycees Egg Hunt will take place at Frontier Sports Complex on Saturday, April 19 at 9 a.m. sharp. This event is free and open to ages 1-8, with no registration required. Parents are advised to arrive early, as the eggs disappear quickly.
  • The Naperville Park District is offering two additional egg hunt events: the first is the Flashlight Egg Hunt for kids ages 9-13 and the second is the Spring Egg-stravaganza for preschoolers ages 2-5. The Flashlight Egg Hunt takes place the evening of Thursday, April 17 at Rotary Hill at the base of the Carillon along the Riverwalk. Pre-Registration is required for the Flashlight Egg HuntParticipants need to bring a flashlight and a basket for the eggs. Refreshments will be provided.
  • The Spring Egg-stravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 12 at Seager Interpretive Center, located at 1163 Plank Road.  Pre-Registration is required for the Spring Egg-stravaganza.  The event includes games, stories, crafts, snacks, and an egg hunt.
