Here's How You Can Help Select New Playground Equipment for Naperville Parks

The Naperville Park District is inviting residents to help select equipment for the 2014 playground improvements planned in their area.

There will be three meetings, all of which will take place at the Park District Planning Office at 425 W. Jackson Avenue from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

· The open house for playground renovations at Buttonwood Park will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013

· The open house for playground renovations at Wildflower Park and for new playground development at Harris Fawell Park will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013

· The open house for playground renovations at East Greens and Old Farm Park will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children and may come at any time during the given time period. There will not be a formal presentation.

“Each playground design offers several variations, including color, types of slides, and layout of equipment. Parents and children who will use the playground can help make these choices,” said Director of Planning Eric Shutes in a news release.
