Naperville Pancreatic Cancer Reseach Walk

The Lustgarten Foundation is the nation’s largest private supporter of pancreatic cancer research. Founded in 1998, The Lustgarten Foundation was named after Cablevision executive Marc Lustgarten, who died from pancreatic cancer. The Foundation is dedicated to advancing scientific and clinical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer. The Foundation concentrates on stimulating the scientific community to conduct the research necessary to find early detection methods, better treatments and a cure for the disease. Toward this end, The Lustgarten Foundation sponsors an annual scientific conference and supports promising pancreatic cancer research. The Foundation also provides free informational materials to patients and caregivers, and airs public service announcements (PSAs) that appear on major television and cable networks nationwide.  One hundred percent of all donations goes to research.
