Make a Difference Day

Whole Foods Market, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and Giving DuPage will team up for Make A Difference Day.

Naperville Chamber Ambassadors will help stuff the trucks of several area non-profits with donations of needed items.

Needed food items include boxed potatoes, stuffing, canned yams, sweet potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, canned fruit, mushroom soup and cake mix and frosting.

Other needed items include new children's coats, new winter wear, children's books, clothing, shoes and boots, jewelry, books, records and CDs, video tapes and DVDs, games and toys and sports equipment.

Also needed are dishes, glassware, kitchenware, utensils, lamps, small appliances, collectibles, antiques, knick-knacks and giftware.

Hand and power tools, linens, curtains, blankets, used cell phones, white paper, pads of lined paper, diapers and baby wipes, baby food and baby formula are needed.

People are also welcome to donate shampoo and conditioner, soap, deodorant, baby wash, diaper cream, sun block, baby clothes, socks and booties, hats and blankets.

Also being accepted for donation are car sheets, car seats, building materials, tools, unopened paint, lighting and lumber and garden items.
