American Cancer Society Pink Tea

The American Cancer Society is proud to announce its annual PINK TEA which will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Planters Palette, 28 W 571 Roosevelt Road, Winfield, Illinois. Each year this event is undertaken to raise awareness of advances in early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Guest speaker, David W. Grotto, RN, LDN and author of “Real Nutrition for the Real Woman” will be featured. Reservations and/or donations fund the American Cancer Society’s comprehensive breast cancer programs.

The PINK TEA was conceived by staff and volunteers as a way to honor Karen Woronicz’s on-going battle with metastatic breast cancer and to celebrate the journey of all breast cancer survivors. Join us at this educational event to learn how the American Cancer Society helps people stay well, get well and cures and fights cancer.
