Alternative Git Marketplace

North Central College's Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) will open its Alternative Gift Marketplace Saturday, Nov. 6, and every Saturday through Dec. 11, where area shoppers can choose from a selection of alternative-trade items, including coffee and various crafts produced in Central America and Africa. The store is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the College's campus in Heininger Auditorium at the Larrance Academic Center, 309 E. School St. As part of the opening day activities, the documentary film "Coffee, Culture & Conscious" by Scott Loberger will be shown, 4-5:30 p.m.
