The Perfect Thing's Tenth Anniversary Celebration

The Perfect Thing, Wheaton’s premiere antique and consignment shop, is celebrating ten years in business with a weekend of exciting events for antique lovers. The celebration takes place November 8-10, 2013. All events are open to the public and admission is free.

Events Include:

  • Judith Miller Book Signing and Talk: Friday, November 8 3pm-7pm

Judith Miller – renowned author and antique expert - will be signing her three new books at The Perfect Thing.  This is Judith’s only Chicago appearance. She will also be giving a brief talk at 6pm. Don’t miss your chance to meet one of the foremost experts on antiques!

  • Lori Mesa Fine Jewelry Trunk Show: Saturday, November 9 10am-4pm

Visitors will delight in exploring the unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for which Lori Mesa Antiques and Fine Jewelry have been known since first opening in 1930.

  • Appraisal Day: Sunday, November 10 1pm-4pm

Kate Martin ISA AM, Ellyn Kornhauser ISA CAPP, GG , Michael Murphy, and Judith Martin ISA CAPP will be offering FREE appraisals from 1P – 4P Sunday.  Come find out what your treasure is worth! To allow as many appraisals as possible, we request you bring just two items with you.  Appraisals will be given on a first come, first served basis. Arrive early to secure your place.

  • Deals & Discounts: All weekend, November 8-10
