Tackling Fracking: An Energy Panacea or an Environmental Disaster?

The public is invited to the next Community Forum of the Naperville Township Democratic Organization.  Following a short business meeting, we will hear from Wheaton resident, James Vroman, on the controversial topic of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, the process whereby shale oil and natural gas are released from deep inside the earth.  Governor Pat Quinn has said that the new law recently passed in Illinois, "enacts the nation's strongest environmental protections...potential to create thousands of jobs...".  Come to learn more from an expert on this complex issue!
