Spring Fling: Shopping for a Cause

The Junior League of Kane & DuPage
Counties, Inc. (JLKD) is excited to announce Spring Fling: Shopping for a
Cause. JLKD’s annual Spring Fling is a fundraising event to benefit at-risk
youth and their families throughout DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties.

“Spring Fling is JLKD’s premier
fundraising event and we expect to sell out again this year. This is a great
opportunity for women to come out and party with a purpose,” says Kristin
Celing, JLKD president. “Where else can you shop for unique items, spend time
with the girls and support families in need right here in Chicago’s western
suburbs.”

The event will be held on Sunday, March
9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville. Spring Fling includes
a ladies luncheon, silent auction, wine pull, spring marketplace and raffles.
Vendors at the spring marketplace represent a wide array of quality products
and services including jewelry, clothing, home décor and more. This year’s
vendors include The GoodFrog Candle Company, Bazor Designs, A Girl With a Cape,
Desmond Brown Designs, PS Designs, and more!

its 19th year, JLKD provides outreach services to organizations and individuals in Kane,
DuPage, Will and Kendall Counties. Our vision is to train volunteers to improve
the lives of children at risk in the community by promoting literacy,
developing self-esteem and providing positive programming.
