Naperville Fire Department & Home Depot Share Fire Safety Message

Firefighters from the Naperville Fire
Departments, volunteers from Energizer and
associates with The Home Depot

will be sharing
life-saving information with community members on Saturday, Oct. 5, at a fire
safety event at the Naperville Home Depot

Kids Fire Safety
Workshops will be held at all The Home Depot locations from 9 a.m. to noon on
Saturday, Oct. 5. The Workshop is free and available to all children. Every
child will receive a buildable mini LEGO City Toy Plane and Fire Safety Tips.
The Home Depot’s Safety Workshop for Kids is just one part of the company’s
month-long home safety and security campaign, representing Home Depot’s ongoing
commitment to give back to the communities it serves.

The International Association of Fire Chiefs and Energizer began the Change Your Clock Change Your Battery® program 26 years ago to help save lives by reminding families to replace the batteries in their home’s smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when they change their clocks for daylight saving time. Today, more than 6,400 fire departments across the country participate in this campaign. The Change Your Clock Change Your Battery program is just one of the ways Energizer brings to life the company’s commitment to making a positive impact in communities across the world. that’s positivenergy™
