“Prayers for Healing Hatred” will feature individuals from Jewish, Muslim and Christian faith traditions in a roundtable panel discussion. These individuals will share insights and prayers from their own faith and answer questions. A time for refreshments afterwards will give the audience a chance to continue the dialog.
Panelists include Tom Cordaro from St. Margaret Mary Parish, Rabbi Marc Rudolph from Congregation Beth Shalom, Tabassum Haleem from the Islamic Center of Naperville, and Christine Driessen, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher. Pastor Bill Bryan from Grace United Methodist Church will moderate the panel.
This event is planned by One Naperville and the Naperville Interfaith Leaders Association (NILA). One Naperville was founded last year to plan a commemorative interfaith event for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The group continues to meet monthly to discuss other interfaith initiatives for this community.
