Music of Six Continents

An eclectic organ, piano and choral concert to the benefit of the 2014 Grace Church mission to Kenya.  Featuring composer and organist Bonnie Johansen-Werner, concert pianist and Joliet Symphony conductor Jim Stopher, and the Grace Junior Singers, this concert premieres two original works by Johansen-Werner, entitled “Three African Folksongs” and “Poems of African AIDS Orphans,” and one by Stopher, “Serenade.”  Other featured selections are from Beethoven, Ross Edwards, and Joao Wilson Faustini.
