Easter Show at the Ogden 6: “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” Digitally Restored for the Big Screen!

 The Ogden 6 Theatre will present a special Easter Saturday showing of the original version of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” starring Gene Wilder.  This will be a rare opportunity to see a digitally restored presentation of this 1971 classic on the Big Screen.  The movie will be shown on Saturday, April 19 at 10 AM at the Ogden 6, located at 1227 East Ogden Avenue in Naperville.Admission is $1 per person. Classic Cinemas Classic Rewards members will receive twoFREE admissions upon presentation of their Classic Rewards card.

“Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” is the musical film adaptation of the 1964 novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl.  This classic tells the story of Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum in his only film appearance), a poor boy who discovers a Golden Ticket that allows him to tour the most eccentric and wonderful candy factory in the world.  It’s an adventure of delicious proportions! The movie is rated G and has a run time of 100 minutes.
