Bill Jacobs BMW Brings New Z4 to James Bond Themed Fundraising Event Benefitting St. Joan of Arc School

St. Joan of Arc School in Lisle is holding their annual Auction Dinner Dance Fundraiser this Friday 11/8, set to the theme of "Licensed to Thrill, 50 Years of James Bond." The event will feature a night full of fun, with raffles, a silent and live auction, dining and dancing at Bobak's Signature Room in Woodridge.

To add to the festivities of this event, Bill Jacobs BMW of Naperville is contributing a brand new BMW Z4 to have on display at the event. This vehicle's legacy in the James Bond film, GoldenEye will add to the excitement of Friday's event.

Bond drove the original 1996 BMW Z3 roadster in GoldenEye. His version had some extra bells and whistles, of course, like a self-destruct system and stinger missiles located behind the headlights. The film had a successful run at the box office, holding the number one spot for the year. BMW saw that sales of the Z3 skyrocketed shortly thereafter, to the point that the entire production run of more than 15,000 roadsters was sold out by the time the car was introduced.
