Vehicle Crashes Into Naperville Verizon Wireless Store

A vehicle struck and shattered the front window of a Naperville cell phone store around noon Tuesday, but witnesses said no one was injured.

A man driving a gray Honda SUV hopped the sidewalk and crashed into the front window of Verizon Wireless, 105 E. Ogden Ave., according to witnesses.

The man was uninjured, but "shaken up," a witness said.

The driver was the only passenger inside the SUV and was able to drive away from the accident after police and fire officials filed the accident report, witnesses said.

Estimated damage to the store is unknown, but one of the store's front windows was completely shattered, leaving a pile of glass on the sidewalk and inside the store Tuesday.
