Naperville Police Department reports, July 12 - 14

Friday, July 12

Identity theft

Theresa Rachell Lanehart, 39, was arrested at 1:24 a.m. in the 3000 block of South California Avenue, police said. She was charged with identity theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Public indecency 

Kenneth Rodney Ewing, 53, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. near High Grove Lane and Ambassador Drive, police said. He was charged with public indecency/lewd exposure. He posted bond. 

Prostitution

Shawnice Ann Miller, 23, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. in the 1500 block of Naperville Wheaton Road, police said. She was charged with prostitution and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Warrant

Eric Cage, 20, was arrested at 1:38 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged on a warrant. He posted bond. 

Criminal trespass

Keith Shiron Rhodes, 43, was arrested at 1:38 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land. He posted bond. 

Burglary

Connor Jackson Domek, 19, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of Bennett Drive, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to Will County Jail. 

DUI

  • Sara Elizabeth Gage, 23, was arrested at 3:43 a.m. near South Washington Street and Ring Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 
  • Renee Adrienne Newton, 42, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Property damage

Patrick Robert Flynn, 59, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, police said. He was charged with knowingly damaging property. He posted bond. 

Retail theft

  • Eduardo Magdelano Guajardo, 29, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
  • Justin Richard Truman, 8:49 p.m. in the 300 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Saturday, July 13

Possession of cannabis

Kiquan Ladouris Walker, 18, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. near West 6th Avenue and North Main Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 

Prostitution

  • Marvin Lambert, 36, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with promoting prostitution and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
  • James Harold Taylor, 20, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with promoting prostitution and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
  • Christa Leanne Peyman, 20, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Diehl Road, police said. She was charged with prostitution and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

DUI

  • Allen Lofton, 43, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. near East 75th Street and South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
  • Kaitlin Danielle Cruse, 19, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. in the 3200 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 
  • Jonathan C. Mueller, 21, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. near Wehrli Road and Shiva Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Burglary

Ian James Haak, 31, was arrested at 4:46 a.m. in the 600 block of Windham Lane, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Suspended/revoked license

Damien Benjamin Wesley Houston, 29, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. near West Diehl Road and Country Club Boulevard, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Sunday, July 14

Suspended/revoked license

Carissa Starletta Blackwell, 30, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. near South Naper Boulevard and Ursuline Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. 

Fighting

Christopher Gene Morales, 31, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. He posted bond. 

DUI

Joseph Lyle McClaire, 22, was arrested at 4:03 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Explosion

An explosion occurred while a resident was in the living room of his home. He checked the front door and found a plastic bottle, aluminum foil, and an unknown liquid substance on the front porch, but no damage was reported in the 700 block of South River Road, police said.

Tree cut down

A tree was cut down in the 2500 block of Whitehall Lane, police said. 

Stolen phone

An iPhone was stolen in the 800 block of Beaumont Drive, police said. 

Tires slashed

  • A vehicle's tire was slashed in the 900 block of Fairway Drive, police said. 
  • All four tires on a white Nissan were slashed in the 900 block of Fairway Drive, police said. 
Window smashed

A window on a red GMC Acadia was smashed in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, police said. 

Wendy's sign stolen

A sign for a pretzel bacon burger was stolen from a Wendy's drive-thru in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. 

Electronics stolen

Electronics were stolen from an unlocked car in the 1700 block of Conan Doyle Road, police said. 

iPod, clothing stolen

An iPod and clothing were taken from a vehicle in the 500 block of South Route 59, police said. 

Creepy chicken bandit 

A man said that on July 5 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. someone entered his apartment without force and ate some of his Popeye's chicken in his refrigerator in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive. He also told police that similar incidents have happened in the past but he has not reported them. 

Graffiti

Graffiti was found in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said .

Bee causes crash

Police said a vehicle struck a parkway tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a bee in the car in the 1100 block of Jane Avenue.

Purse stolen

A purse was stolen from a grocery cart in the parking in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said.
