No Injuries in Naperville House Fire on Main Street

Naperville firefighters battled house fire late Sunday night.

No one was injured after a home caught fire in central Naperville late Sunday night. 

Firefighters were dispatched to a duplex at 629 S. Main St. at 11:25 p.m. after a resident called 911 to report that his house was on fire, according to the fire department. The fire was sparked by a window air conditioning unit, according to reports.

Naperville police as well as seven emergency vehicles arrived to the scene within five minutes. The fire was brought under control in less than 10 minutes and completely extinguished within 20 minutes, according to the fire department.  

Estimated damage to the home is more than $10,000, according to the fire department.
