Metra Construction Update: Phase Two Under Way

Commuters will exit on the west end of the platform while work continues.

Phase Two of the Metra Platform Improvement Project is under way at the , according to the city of Naperville.

Work on Phase One was scheduled to be completed last week and the city was anticipating work on Phase Two would begin Tuesday. The began in early April.

Phase Two will require commuters to exit Metra trains at the west end of the platform. Phase Two of the project includes the demolition and reconstruction of the northeast portion of the platform, according to the city.

The platform project involves removal and reconstruction of the north and south platforms of the Naperville Metra Station, according to the city of Naperville.
