July 4th Holiday Round-Up

Find out what offices are closed and what is open this weekend.

If you want to borrow a book for the long Fourth of July weekend, be sure to get to the library soon. Along with other government offices, the library will close for the holiday.

The Naperville Public Library will be closed July 3-4. As always, if you have an e-reader or normally download books, the online library is continuously open. Learn more here

The city of Naperville Municipal Center will be closed on July 4. Garbage pick-up will not take place on July and residents who normally have Monday pick-up will have it pushed back one day and garbage collection will be pushed one day for the entire week. The city of Naperville is reminding residents that many streets will be closed because of Ribfest. There will be shuttles to take festival goers to the event. Learn what streets will be closed and where to park remotely here.

The DuPage County Public Health Department’s Public Health Centers will be closed Monday. The crisis hotline, however, will remain in operation: (630) 627-1700. Learn more about what offices are closed for the holiday.

The will be closed from July2 through July 4. The settlement is open during construciton.

Centennial Beach will be open July 4th from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. With warm weather expected, this will be a good way to cool off. Get more information about Centennial Beach. The Naperville Park District also said that the Paddleboat Quarry, the Millennium Carillon and Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses will operate with normal business hours.
