Prices as the pump are falling again in Illinois, that according to GasBuddy.com. The average price of a gallon of gas is back to $3.839 in Illinois while nationwide the average is $3.651.
The state of Illinois has a special website dedicated to monitoring gas prices and consumers are encouraged to report incidents of suspected price gouging or other problems, such as gasoline quality. As of Tuesday the state reported the average price was $3.792. Local prices seem to be in line with the average.
