Flash Flood Warning Issued for Naperville

A flash flood warning has been issued for the Naperville area until early Wednesday morning.

A flash flood warning has been issued for the Naperville area until early Wednesday morning.

The warning is in affect until 2:30 a.m. for northwestern Will County and southern DuPage County, according to the National Weather Service

Thunderstorms with "torrential rainfall" capable of producing one to two inches of rain in less than 45 minutes across the area have been indicated on radar, according to the National Weather Service.

The excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding, especially in poor drainage areas, according to the National Weather Service.
