Best of Craigslist: Blackhawks Drink Machine; Own Village Greens’ Scoreboard

The following items and postings were found on Craigslist for the Naperville, Lisle and Woodridge area. Note: Patch has no control over the status of these posts on Craigslist and how long they remain available.

Blackhawks Drink Machine

Dispense yourself some appropriately ice-cold drinks from this Blackhawks-themed vending machine, with slots for four different beverages (bottles or cans,) plus additional storage in the stand in the back. All the satisfaction of a vending machine, without that pesky part where you have to pay for it (or, at least, you collect your own payment later.) Going for $450 out of Woodridge.

Own Village Greens’ Scoreboard

I golf at Village Greens a fair bit, and I can attest that the ad space on the club’s scoreboard is highly prominent. Now, for just $20,000, you can take over responsibility for selling that ad space (40 linear feet) and pocket the profits, which the Woodridge seller says can go over $30,000 annually. Of course, there is the risk of said ads being displayed over bogey-filled scores that people don’t care to look at for too long.

Free Kids Shelves and Stuffed Doggie

How much is that doggie in the window? Free, actually! Plus a nice set of colorful kids’ shelves, all free, out of Naperville. What’s the catch? Besides that you have to pick it up, nothing! And look at that cute doggie (seriously that doggie is so cute, even if he doesn’t have a waggly tail.)

Shot-Glass Chessboard

It might be a little difficult to remember your various Sicilian Defense lines while simultaneously pounding back shots of tequila for every capture, but that’s sort of the point, isn’t it? Make your chess games far more amusing (and far-less suited for academic study) with this unique board, going for $25 out of Naperville. Good luck if it goes to a pawn-and-king endgame, drunkie!

Wolf and Lynx Rugs 

… Look, I really don’t endorse this, personally, but there’s no denying that these authentic timber wolf and Siberian lynx rugs are unique and interesting offerings. I’m going to assume they were made legally and not say much more about it, except that they’re $1,500 and $1,300 respectively out of Naperville. “No stupid questions,” indeed. 

Last Supper, Martini-Style

This “Last Martini” painting probably counts as some type of blasphemy, at the very least against Leonardo da Vinci, but if so, it’s delicious blasphemy, at least. A great Michael Godard piece for your bar room, going for $995 out of Woodridge. (What do you make out of Jesus being an olive? I have no idea…)
