Passerbys have certainly been intrigued by the signs in the vacant shop at 127 South Washington Street announcing that a new specialty bakery, tea room and gift shop is coming soon.
Le Chocolat du Bouchard is expanding to serve European inspired pastries, chocolates, breakfast and lunch next door to their existing location at 129 South Washington Street.
Cathy Bouchard, the bakery’s owner anticipates the new business opening this summer. “We’ve been very busy designing and building out our new addition.”
At the bakery customers will also be able to meet with the Event Planners in a cozy party planning area to book parties, order gift baskets and purchase specialty party favors.
In addition to the bakery area there will be an upstairs Garden Tea Room where guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch as well as shop for unique gifts and book private events.
“It is amazing to see your dreams come to life,” says Bouchard. “I am excited to give people a place where they can be part of a community and enjoy experiencing European pastries and chocolates.”
Customers at Le Chocolat du Bouchard can sign up to be invited to the Grand Opening Celebration Party which will feature delicious samples, fun entertainment and fabulous prizes, including a grand prize drawing for “Sweets & Treats for a Year” at Le Chocolat du Bouchard!
