South Pointe Sea Stars support Alex's Lemonade Stand at final home meet

With its final home meet this Saturday, South Pointe Sea Stars hope not only for fast swims but for lots of lemonade sales. For the 2013 swim season, the Sea Stars are raising funds for the charity, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. At home meets, all lemonade sales are given to the charity.

So far this year, the team has raised over $150 in donations for the charity. The fundraiser will culminate with a family swim night. The team hopes to raise a total of $500 during the swim season.

This season has been very successful for the South Pointe Team. All the swimmers have made tremedous strides in the pool. From becoming legal in all four strokes to record breaking swims, the Sea Stars are a force in the pool.
