Story Time Returns to the Naperville Riverwalk Amphitheater

Storytime at the Riverwalk returns for the summer.

After last year's hiatus due to Riverwalk construction, the summer tradition of story time at the Riverwalk has returned.

Starting, Tuesday, June 14, Naperville Public Library and the Naperville Park District will present family story time at the Naperville Riverwalk Amphitheater.

These weekly programs are designed for the whole family. Each story time will feature songs, stories, and a puppet show. The Children's Services staff from the three NPL branches will host these events. Families are encouraged to bring a meal or snack to these events.

In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Community Room of the Nichols Library. Since there is limited seating in the Community Room (185 seating capacity), two shows will be held, one immediately following the other.

The Wednesday lunchtime program is the same as the Tuesday night program.

The story time on the Riverwalk will be held each Tuesday night from 7 till 7:45 pm and Wednesday lunchtime, at 11:30 am, from June 14 through August 3.

So get outside and let the kids enjoy a Naperville tradition.
