Santa's Village AZoosment Park open Memorial Day weekend

Santa's Village AZoosment park re-opens May 28 for a summer of family fun.

Looking for a family day activity over Memorial Day weekend?  Why not take the whole clan to Santa’s Village AZoosment Park. Friday, May 27 will be the opening day for the newly renovated park.


This year marks the first official summer season since 2005. The park is newly renovated with numerous amusement park rides and animal related activities from A Zoo to You.  The park brings back the nostalgia of Kiddeland and the whimsy of Santa’s Village. 


Santa’s Village AZoosment Park is located in East Dundee, which is close to both Chicago and Rockford. It’s address is 601 Dundee Avenue East Dundee, IL 60118, between Route 25 and Route 72.

Admission fees are $16.50 per person and children under 2 are free. The entrance fee includes all rides and attractions at the park. Parking is free.  The park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. 


Santa’s Village AZoosment Park provides a variety of entertainment experiences for kids, parents, and grandparents. The attractions are recommended for children under 12, but the park has a little something for everyone.

The animal activities include an exotic animal show, a petting zoo, pony rides and a walk-in aviary with more than 200 birds. 


Of course, the visit would not be complete without a riding the classic rides that families have known for years. The rides at Santa’s Village AZoosment Park include:

  • Original Santa’s Village RidesBalloon Race, Convoy, Sleigh Ride, and Starjet
  • Kiddieland Rides Midge ‘o Racer
  • Kiddie New Rides Dragon Coaster, Kiddie Ferris Wheel, Kiddie Hand Trains, Swings, and Tilt-a-Whirl
