Product Review: Skin MD, Saving Your Skin Naturally This Summer

Natural skin care product review.

I don't know about you, but the summer months play havoc on my skin. From the days at the pool and long nights at t-ball games, my skin takes a beating. I'm always on the lookout for skin care products that keep me looking my best naturally.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to try Skin MD Natural. "Skin MD Natural™ is a state-of-the-art shielding lotion designed to duplicate the skin's own protective barrier helping to protect skin against damaging irritants while providing hours of non-greasy moisture."

Skin MD is "made to be free of parabens, petrochemicals, dyes, and other irritating ingredients. It is  also vegan, cruelty free, and eco-friendly."

What I liked about Skin MD is that the lotion wasn't greasy. It's hard to have greasy hands with little kids. I don't want to leave a mark on clothes or leave a messy on the car's steering wheel. With this lotion, I didn't have any issues. I didn't even have problems at the gym. Usually, I don't put lotion on before going to the gym, but with Skin MD, I could moisturize in the morning and worry about being unprotected the rest of the day.

Also, the lotion kept my hands protected through a whole swim meet. If you participate in swimming, you know how chlorine can leave your skin dry and sometimes brittle feeling. With the Skin MD, my skin felt protected all day. And, since Skin MD is all natural, I felt comfortable putting this lotion on my kids too. After all their races and a day in the sun, the boys need to have their skin protected. I felt that Skin MD did a great job with our after swim/sun care.

Skin MD can be purchased online at  http://www.skinmdnatural.com/order/  or at various retailers. Locally, Skin MD can be purchased at Walgreens and Jewel Osco.
