Several CN100 Game of the Week Teams Still Alive in Playoffs

Preview 2012 IHSA Football playoff matchups with Xfinity On Demand.

The 2012 IHSA football playoffs move on to the quarterfinals this weekend, as do several teams featured this year on the CN100 Game of the Week.

Among remaining playoff teams, 11 schools featured on Comcast broadcasts this year continue to be in the hunt for a state title. That includes four No. 1 seeds – Glenbard West High School and Lincoln-Way East High School in 7A; and Cary-Grove and Oak Forest high schools in Class 6A. Glenbard West, Lincoln-Way East, Cary-Grove and Marian Central Catholic, a No. 2 seed in 5A, each have perfect 11-0 records going into the second round.

CN100, The Comcast Network, broadcasts high school football games each week on Saturdays, Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays. Every game is also available throughout Chicagoland with Xfinity On Demand.

Schools featured during 2012 include (in order by class): Palatine, Glenbard West, Downers Grove North, Benet, Lincoln-Way East, Cary-Grove, Lake Forest, Oak Forest, Joliet Catholic, Marian Central and Montini.

Two second-round match-ups are between Game of the Week schools – Benet vs. Downers Grove North in 7A and Montini vs. Marian Central in 5A.
