CN100 Game of the Week Well Represented in 2012 IHSA Football Playoffs

Get ready for the 2012 IHSA Football Playoffs with Xfinity On Demand

When the 2012 IHSA football playoffs kick off this weekend, there will be plenty of teams familiar to CN100 Game of the Week viewers.

Across the entire playoff field, 27 teams featured on Comcast broadcasts this year qualified for the postseason. That includes four No. 1 seeds – Glenbard West High School and Lincoln-Way East High School in 7A; and Cary-Grove and Oak Forest high schools in Class 6A. Glenbard West, Lincoln-Way East, Cary-Grove and Marian Central Catholic, a No. 2 seed in 5A, each have perfect 9-0 records going into the playoffs.

CN100, The Comcast Network, broadcasts high school football games each week on Saturdays, Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays. Every game is also available throughout Chicagoland with Xfinity On Demand.

With On Demand, you can relive all the action of your favorite school's game on CN100 or, with the playoffs getting underway, scout next week's opponent.

Schools featured during 2012 include (in order by class): Bartlett, Palatine, Schaumburg, Naperville North, Bolingbrook, Marist, Homewood-Flossmoor, Brother Rice, Bloom Township, Glenbard West, Elk Grove, Prospect, Huntley, Crystal Lake South, Downers Grove North, Thornton-Fractional South, Lincoln-Way East, Providence, Cary-Grove, Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Joliet Catholic, Marian Central, Wauconda, Montini, Rich East and North Chicago.

Two first-round match-ups are between Game of the Week schools – Glenbard West vs. Elk Grove in 7A and Marian Central vs. Wauconda in 5A.
