Fast Facts: Central needs a win to keep pace with DVC co-leaders Glenbard East and West Aurora. The Redhawks’ record is deceiving, as they have several marquee wins including victories over Class 4A Bolingbrook Sectional top seed Oswego, highly-touted Benet, Glenbard East and a 63-54 win over Naperville North in their first match-up in January. The Redhawks are led by Czarnowski, one of the western suburbs’ top players. Blaszczyk and Pauga lead a group of versatile shooters for the high-scoring Redhawks. Naperville North is coming off of its first DVC title in 14 years last year, but stand at fourth in the conference this year. The Huskies had won six straight games before falling to Glenbard East last week. Westman averages 15.5 points and 7 rebounds per game to lead the team. LoLordo is the team’s point guard and both he and Rehayem average 9.7 points per game. McClain only averages 5.9 points per game, but is one of the most dynamic freshman varsity players in the western suburbs.

Quotable: “Westman is a tough competitor,” Naperville North coach Jeff Powers said. “LoLordo is smart, runs the team. McClain is one of the best freshmen I have ever coached. The team has been playing hard.”
