Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue-Meet Bella and Rona

Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue has wonderful dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes. Please check out www.waifsandstraysrescue.org for a complete list of animals.

Beautiful Bella

This little Min Pin and Yorkie Mix is in dire need of a loving owner and a quiet atmosphere. Bella has had a tough 6 years or so.   As a result, Bella can be a little opinionated and she picks who gets to be in her circle of friends. She loves who she loves and it could possibly be you! She has been waiting a long time for a family of her own. She has come a long way in regards to accepting more friends into her circle. She would love the opportunity to meet you and see if you are her new best friend.  .

Miracles do happen........
An unfortunate tumble, resulted from Bella taking a leap into her kennel caused some nerve damage in her neck which left her temporarily paralyzed. After an emergency visit to a specialist, medications, and many weeks of rest, THANKFULLY, Bella was back on her feet again fetching the ball as if she had never been injured.
Although Bella is doing great, she has a slightly tilted head and somewhat of a gated walk, which has not affected her love of life at all.

Please contact us at waifsandstraysanimalrescue@comcast.net  to set up an appointment to meet Bella.  We are hoping she gets a second miracle- a home for the holidays.

RAMBUNCTIOUS RONA- 1 year old female

What a sweet little girl! She was surrendered by her family, and given to an animal control in Missouri. She completed their Puppies For Parole program. She is a very nice dog, but also VERY strong. So far we know she is good with kids. Bigger children would probably be best because she is so strong, she could easily knock small children down while romping around. So far, we have not done dog or cat testing with her. She needs an experience owner who is willing to work with teaching her.

Adoptions are done by appointment only. Please contact us at Waifsandstraysanimalrescue@comcast.net. Adoption fee covers spay, all immunizations, a microchip for identification, and a free wellness exam with a veterinarian.

To see pictures of other animals up for adoptions check out http://waifsandstraysrescue.org/   or to meet some of our kitties at Thorton's All Pet Pantry located at 4910 Main St., Lisle.

Misty, April, Panda, Pippi and Krakow are still looking for a wonderful, permanent home.  Please check out previous submissions for more information.

Waifs and Strays Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We provide shelter, food, medical care, and love until their forever home is found through adoption.
