The Marquette Companies Announces Executive Appointments

Nick Ryan, CEO of Naperville-based The Marquette Companies, has announced several new executive appointments as the firm moves into its fourth decade in business.

“This has been a very exciting year for The Marquette Companies in terms of acquisitions and new development, but it has also been a year of transition,” said Ryan. “We’ve grown tremendously, which we owe in large part to our leadership team. And as we start 2014, we’re streamlining our approach across all areas of The Marquette Companies with our leadership team taking on new roles.”

Ryan will continue to serve as chief executive officer while the role of president will go to Darren Sloniger. Sloniger will also continue in his current position as chief investment officer, which he has held for the past 10 years.

James Cunningham, formerly executive vice president of Marquette Management, will now serve as executive vice president of property management and chief operating officer of all of Marquette.

Trevor Ryan, who previously was director of asset management for Marquette, has been promoted to executive vice president of asset management and strategic chief financial officer.
