Sikich LLP Names Jim Drumm as Partner-in-Charge of Technology Practice

Sikich LLP, a leading accounting, advisory, investment banking, technology and managed services firm, recently named Jim Drumm as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s technology practice.  

Drumm has extensive expertise in business and management consulting, finance, marketing, sales and technology – particularly enterprise resource planning (ERP) selection. In his new role, Drumm will set the overall strategy and vision, drive revenue growth, expand the practice to other geographic regions and improve the offering for the firm’s clients. Specifically, Drumm will focus on strengthening the practice’s cloud, mobility and security solutions.

Drumm regularly speaks about sales leadership, sales processes and business consulting at Microsoft conferences and ERP industry events around the country, and Microsoft has named him a top sales producer and manager numerous times. His unique approach to identifying and solving customer challenges has enabled Sikich to serve in the Microsoft President’s Club and become a member of Microsoft’s Inner Circle, an exclusive group that features the top 1 percent of the 5,000 worldwide Microsoft Business Systems Dynamics partners.

Drumm, 49, has worked at Sikich for more than 15 years and served as an account executive, sales manager and partner prior to his new role. He spent the last six years leading the firm’s Microsoft Dynamics sales team.

Previously, Drumm served as a controller at Technology Solutions Corporation, a financial operations analyst for Zenith Electronics and a futures trader at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Drumm holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Illinois State University and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in finance from Northern Illinois University. He currently serves on Northern Illinois University’s executive board.
