Local Naperville Company Named Finalist for 2014 Housewares Design Awards

The AIR-O-SWISS U200 Ultrasonic Humidifier from Plaston International was selected as a Finalist for the Home Environment Appliances category in the prestigious 2014 Housewares Design Awards.  This means that it is in the running for the “Best of the Best” Awards that will be given to the best housewares products of the year at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

The Housewares Design Awards is the industry’s premier independent awards competition.  Winners will be announced at the Housewares Design Awards presentation ceremony and luncheon on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Plaston International’s Air-O-Swiss U200 ultrasonic humidifier combines air humidification with the simultaneous  release of fragrances into the indoor air. Water is converted into a micro-fine mist by means of the ultrasonic system  and flavor oils can be released from a removable fragrance container at the back of the unit. Features include an  adjustable dial, revolving outlet nozzle, removable water tank with carrying handle and transparent window with  water level indicator.

An independent panel of judges selected the AIR-O-SWISS U200 Ultrasonic Humidifier as a finalist based on its superior design, appearance, function and originality. The Housewares Design Awards are presented by HomeWorld Business and sponsored by NY Now®, Gourmet Insider Magazine and Whitford Corporation.
