EverGreen Theatre Ensemble presents . . . And We Will Share the Sky, a Kennedy Center Finalist for the David Mark Cohen Playwriting Award.

You know that day and night, the sun and the moon share the sky. But do you know how they came to live so far above us? It’s long, long, long ago in Nigeria, when the world is fresh and new. Brother Sun and Sister Moon live on land. The two are as different as—well, as different as day and night. Drummer Sun shines a dazzling personality over his many rowdy friends. Contemplative Moon, an artist, prefers peace and quiet. The opposites struggle to work out their differences—until . . .

Author Donna Latham’s been making up stuff, writing it down, and acting it out forever.

Her award-winning plays have been produced coast to coast in the US and across the pond in Belfast.
