Adam Parks named Naperville Magazine’s “Best Of Naperville” Best Investment Advisor 2013

Adam Parks, Financial Advisor with First Command Financial Services in Naperville, was named “Best Investment Advisor” for 2013 by Naperville Magazine.

The fifth annual “Best of Naperville” awards program was conducted via online voting through the first six months of 2013, and culminated in a formal awards presentation dinner gala in July.  This prestigious distinction indicates great respect among the Naperville community, Naperville Magazine readers, clients, and peers.

“It’s an honor that my clients and friends value my work enough to vote for me,” Mr. Parks relates. “I love working with people and helping them to achieve their financial goals, of course, but I also enjoy the strong friendships that develop from my work with my clients.  I care for them like they were family.”

Adam is a Financial Advisor with First Command Financial Services, which began as a resource for military service members over fifty years ago but now is accessible to all in need of financial guidance. Adam and his team focus on strategic tax planning. “Taxes will most likely take more of your portfolio than the markets ever will. The category “Best Investment Advisor” was new to the “Best Of Naperville” lineup in 2013, which makes it a particularly high honor for the winner and runners up.  The awards presentation and celebration event, which was held at Naperville’s Hotel Arista on July 25, showcased the winners and runners up in every category, then also treated attendees to a fabulous dinner, music, raffles, and more.

“As I looked around the room, I saw some of the most influential people of Naperville.  People who are at the top of their game,” Adam described. “I am incredibly proud and extremely thankful to everyone who voted.”

And, in typical Adam Parks fashion, this event was itself a philanthropic one -- a portion of the proceeds from the evening’s activities benefitted nonprofit organization The Naperville Heritage Society.
