Abbeywood Cat Hospital Launches Fall Feline Food Drive

Abbeywood Cat Hospital of Westmont is announcing a Fall Feline Food Drive to help pet cats belonging to local families needing assistance. The hospital will be collecting donations to purchase cat food to donate to Loaves and Fishes food pantry in Naperville.

The hospital is asking for donations to purchase cat food to donate to Loaves and Fishes. Their local Hill’s Pet Nutrition representative has agreed to match each bag of food purchased by Abbeywood Cat Hospital, so the donations will go twice as far.

The hospital is giving away cat-themed pieces of art and collectables in exchange for donations to the food drive. The hospital recently expanded and redesigned its office in Westmont, leaving them with a collection of cat related objects.

“We have a great collection, many pieces would make wonderful holiday gifts for any cat owner or cat lover,” said Sandra Barclay, DVM and co-founder of Abbeywood Cat Hospital. “I hope everyone will consider making a donation to the Fall Feline Food Drive, not only do you get a great gift for a friend, you can give the gift of assistance to a local family and their pet.”

The Fall Feline Food Drive will start on November 15. All of the collectables will be on display at the Abbeywood Cat Hospital, located at 6323 Fairview Avenue in Westmont. Additional information on the food drive can be found on the hospital’s Facebook page (facebook.com/abbeywoodcatclinic), and on Twitter (@abbeywoodcat). For more information, interested parties can call the hospital at 630-969-5432.
