School news

For the sixth consecutive year, Naperville Community Unit School District 203 college readiness scores are above the 50 percent mark. District 204 also remains above state average.

During Monday's board of education meeting, officials announced Dan Bridges as the district's new superintendent.

 

Police and fire

Adam Drop of Naperville faces charges of failing to report an accident and failing to render aid after an accident involving an injury.

After being accreditied for 15 consecutive years, the Naperville Fire Department is now one of three departments in the world to be designated as a "Legacy Agency."

The Naperville Fire Department is asking residents for donations of used vehicles in order to practice auto extrication skills.
