Over the years, NCO has grown and changed to meet the needs of the community.  Today, NCO still provides counseling, but in a more formal professional setting and does it on a sliding scale fee basis.  NCO has a group home for boys ages 13-18, runs three transitional housing programs for both male and female young adults ages 18-21, and oversees the Naperville Operation Snowball program, as well as the Power of Choice campaign in both District 203 and 204 schools.

NCO has created a series of programs to help with social competency skills for youth and addressing self-esteem issues which include the ACES, Life Workshops and WINGS programs.   NCO has also evolved from a staff of one counselor to a staff of 40 full and part time employees.
