Delta Sonic Spreading Holiday Cheer to Pets, Patrons

Delta Sonic Car Wash is spreading holiday cheer to patrons as well as pets this holiday season.

Throughout December the car wash is holding a Car Wash Wonderland and Light Show at its Naperville location on Route 59 and North Aurora Avenue. From 5 p.m. until close, 100 percent of car wash sales will be donated to Cause for Paws as well as eight local non-profit animal organizations.

The animal organizations benefiting from the light show are: Oak Park Animal Care League, Anti-Cruelty Society, West Suburban Humane Society, Naperville Area Humane Society, ADOPT Pet Shelter, PURRS Naperville, Tails Humane Society, Friends of DuPage County Animal Care and Control and the Humane Society of the United States, according to a Delta Sonic release.

“Annually Delta Sonic donates all monies collected in counter donation boxes, air machines and shoe shine machines to local and national animal rights and welfare organizations," said Kim Canna, Delta Sonic marketing director, in a release. "The Car Wash Wonderland and Light Show has been a dream of ours for years. Donating the car wash sales was a natural fit with our on-going fundraising initiative."

The Delta Sonic Car Wash Wonderland and Light Show is a collection of animated holiday displays and millions of lights set to music. Customers can tune their car radios and enjoy the show both outside and while going through the car wash.

In addition to the light show there will be various activities throughout the month including on-site adoptions and giveaways.
