'Watercolor Tips and Techniques' art course to be offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church

Where can you pick up very helpful “Watercolor Tips and Techniques” from a professional artist for only $4 an hour? At St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville, that’s where! Robert Sunyog, a member of the Nature Art League and a noted artist and illustrator, will share tips used by the pro’s in a series of art classes that will meet from 9 a.m. – noon on six consecutive Saturdays, beginning Sept. 15, at the church.

Class size is limited to the first 12 registrants and the $70 fee for the series is a real bargain, so registration as soon as possible is encouraged.

“Watercolor is an exciting, flexible and richly rewarding medium,” said Sunyog. Through the series of classes, he will help students learn to enhance and enliven their works using a variety of tips and techniques that are both easy to learn and to apply. Sunyog has taught several classes at the church in recent years and has been very well-received.
